Party Kathmandu Events, Australia Battle of the Bands 2010

Party Kathmandu’s Battle of the Bands 2010 was held with great success on Christmas Eve 2010 at the Oxford Art Factory in Darlinghurst. The hundreds of audience members were fortunate enough to witness the stunning performances by the six contending bands battling it out for the title of the winner of the Battle of the Band 2010.

Ms Bhoma Limbu, the Vic-President of NRN, Australia, graced the event along with other distinguished guests who took delight in witnessing the wealth of talent on offer.

The event was hosted by Bandana Shakya and Arjun Sitaula, who carried the program through smoothly with their natural flair and charisma.

The format of the competition comprised of three performances by each of the six competing bands, Shastra, Echo, Vastavik Parivartan, Weavil, Under Construction and U Turn, consisted of a cover song of choice, a Nepali cover song chosen by the judges and an original competition.

The competition was judged by several accomplished Nepalese artists currently residing cialis soft tabs vs cialis in Sydney. The performances of all the bands were inspiring and faultless and the quality of musicianship would not have been out of place even in an international event. Among competing bands, one band stood out in the eyes of the judges. Weavil was chosen as the deserved winners of the Battle of the Bands 2010.

Party Kathmandu would like to thank the guests, judges, MCs, DJs, camera crew, photographer, volunteers, the guest bands – The Flemington Project and The Shadows and the splendid audience for making Battle of the Bands 2010 an extremely successful event. Most importantly, Party Kathmandu would like to thank all participating band members for their awesome performances and wish them all the success in the future.
